Shipping policy
Introduction
This Shipping & Returns Policy explains the shipping & delivery practices for purchases made through Caffeinated, a brand owned and operated by Thent Coffee Private Limited (“Company”). We have crafted this policy in compliance with India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable GST and logistics regulations. Our goal is to be transparent and fair, providing clarity to our customers while protecting our company’s legal rights. By placing an order with Caffeinated, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Shipping Policy
Shipping Coverage:
We currently ship orders within India only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Order Processing Time:
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 48 hours (2 business days) of order confirmation. Processing does not include weekends or public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next working day.
Delivery Timeframe:
Once dispatched, orders are usually delivered within up to 10 days. Actual delivery times may vary based on the destination and other factors. Please note that delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed, as they depend on third-party courier partners. Urban metro areas might receive packages faster, while remote or rural locations could take the full 10 days.
Shipping Charges:
We offer free standard shipping on orders above ₹399 (order subtotal). For orders below ₹399, a shipping fee will apply. Any applicable shipping charge will be clearly shown at checkout before you finalize your order. All prices and shipping fees include applicable GST as per Indian tax laws, and a valid GST invoice will be provided with your order.
Cash on Delivery (COD):
We provide a Cash on Delivery payment option for orders across India. COD is available for order values up to a maximum of ₹2,000. There is no additional COD charge. Please ensure someone is available to pay in cash at the time of delivery. If a COD order exceeds ₹2,000 or cannot be fulfilled on COD for any reason, our support team will reach out to assist with an alternate payment method.
Packaging:
All orders are packed in secure, tamper-proof packaging to ensure your products reach you in good condition. Please do not accept the package if you find that it has been tampered with or opened upon delivery. In such cases, inform us immediately at our support email (provided below).
Delays and Unforeseen Events:
While we strive to meet the estimated delivery times, certain situations beyond our control may cause shipping delays. These include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, weather disturbances, strikes, lockdowns, regulatory restrictions, or courier network disruptions. In such force majeure events or other unforeseen delays, the Company is not liable for the delay. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to keep you informed. If you have not received your order within the expected timeframe, please contact our support team so we can assist in tracking the shipment.
Customer Responsibility:
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of order, along with any necessary landmarks or instructions. Please double-check your contact number and address details before confirming the order. You (or a designated recipient) should be available to receive the delivery at the address. If a delivery attempt is made and no one is available or the address is incorrect, it may result in delays, additional re-delivery charges, or the package being returned to us. We will reach out to you in such cases to rearrange delivery, but repeated failed delivery attempts may lead to order cancellation at our discretion.
